Tom Cruise still dominates the box office, decades after his debut, with releases such as Top Gun Maverick and the Mission: Impossible franchise. But in the 1990s, Tom donned a wig and fangs to take on the role of Lestat de Lioncourt in Interview with the Vampire.
But Cruise underwent some strain while filming the film.
Cruise worked closely with Brad Pitt on the set of Anne Rice’s film.
Pitt played Louis de Pointe du Lac in the film, the undead servant and lover of Lestat. But after the cameras stopped rolling, the two Hollywood stars faced off in a different way.
Pitt said it was “miserable” to work on the film alongside Cruise.
Pitt later added of Cruise, “He bugged me. There came a point during filming where I started to really resent him.”
Describing their differences, he added: “He’s at the North Pole, I’m at the South. He always comes to you with a handshake, while I may pass you by.”
He continued, “There was this underlying competition that got in the way of any real conversation.”
The insults did not stop at work excursions, however. Pitt also denounced the star’s film roles.

There were, however, even more salacious rumors about Jolie and Cruise.
According to Entertainment Times, Jolie and Cruise have “always been interested” in each other.
And, recently, they’re trying to figure out if “they’re a good match.”
For the past few decades, Cruise and Pitt haven’t worked together at all.
While this doesn’t confirm any sort of bad – or good – relationship, it does raise the question: why?
Considering they’re such famous actors, not having seen them work together since 1994 is pretty interesting.
