It’s time for a new episode of our Best horror movie you’ve never seen series of videos (published under the Revisited banner), and in this one, we look back at the 1990 supernatural horror movie The first power (Look at this HERE), a film that pits Lou Diamond Phillips against a serial killer who gains the ability to possess people after being executed. Written and directed by Robert Resnikoff, The first power has the following synopsis:
A vicious serial killer is tracked down by Detective Russell Logan. Although the maniac is executed in the gas chamber, the murders begin again. A devil worshiper, the killer has the first power – one of three forces that only God or the devil can bestow. With supernatural forces behind him, he can now appear in anyone, anywhere, anytime. In shockingly spectacular action sequences, he pursues Logan and the beautiful seer, Tess, who helps the police. Watch in horror as this unstoppable entity grows stronger with each kill committed.
Phillips is joined in the cast by Tracy Griffith, Jeff Kober, Mykel T. Williamson, Elizabeth Arlen, David Gale, Bill Moseley, Grand L. Bush and Nada Despotovich.

dedicated to shining a light on horror movies that, for one reason or another, aren’t getting as much love as we think they should. We know many of you horror hounds will have seen many of the films we’ll pick from, but there will be many who haven’t.
