Scarlett Johansson’s career is at its peak. But it turns out that there are things that Black Widow star has not yet done so. And in a recent appearance, the new mom for the second time revealed one of her cinematic goals. Here’s what Johansson said during his walk on the red carpet at the American Cinematheque Awards.

You read correctly. Somehow, without reaching that career milestone, Scarlett Johansson went straight to the top of the Hollywood ladder. She is now a major player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with her role in Black Widow. Plus, his controversial lawsuit against Disney didn’t detract from the high-profile nature of the concert. She eventually settled out of court with the studio to recoup her financial losses when the film was released directly to streaming.
The mother of two hasn’t been seen much lately. However, in a new American Cinematheque Awards red carpet interview in Beverly Hills, Johansson revealed that despite all of her accomplishments, she still has a few unfulfilled goals. Johansson appeared alongside her husband, Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost.
“I would love to make a horror movie at some point,” Johansson told E! New. “I can’t watch them, I can never see it, but I want to be there.”
Johansson has starred in a few spooky sci-fi offerings in the past. Her sub-human character Laura in Under the skin memorably feeds on Scottish men. She also appeared in the 2002 action comedy Monster. The eight-legged monsters.
However, Scarlett Johansoon has yet to take on the role of one last girl in the same vein as Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode in. Halloween or Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott in Scream.
Scarlett Johansson just became a mom again
The Lucy’s actor has just become a mother again with her husband Colin Jost. And while it’s a big milestone for her, she also says she believes having a career is part of her children’s well-being.
“I have two wonderful kids and I think it’s really important for both of them to see their parents thrive and do the jobs they love, pursue their dreams and be passionate about what they do,” said Johansson told E! New. “I think it’s really meaningful to them.”
Johansson had her daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac in 2014. She gave birth to a son Cosmo alongside Jost in August 2021.
In the past, the actor has admitted that being a working mom isn’t easy. “I have a lot of admiration for working mothers,” she told Entertainment Tonight in February 2017. “I barely, barely want to hold on.”

It seems, however, that Johansson is doing a lot more than “barely holding on”. She received the American Cinematheque Award, a distinguished tribute for her entire career, on November 18, 2021.
About her remarkable career, Johansson said she enjoys working with people she respects. “I was really, really lucky to have worked with some of my favorite filmmakers,” Johansson told E! New. “I think I’m the most proud of these creative and collaborative situations. I had some amazing co-stars. I just feel very lucky to love my job and to love what I do and still have a passion for it.
