New trailer for Pierre Morel’s military action movie ‘The Ambush’

“How long before the backup arrives?” Saban Films has released a new US trailer for a “high-octane foreign action movie” titled the ambushdirected by French action filmmaker Pierre Morel – from District B13, Taken, From Paris with love, The shooterand Pepper mint previously. It is based on a true story of soldiers from the United Arab Emirates. In 2018, during the war in Yemen, soldiers of the Emirati armed forces based in Moka were deployed on a mission. In the middle of a routine patrol, they are ambushed in a valley by rebel fighters. Their commander leads a daring mission to save them. It was already released last year in the United Arab Emirates and will be released in the United States in November on VOD. Military action movie stars Marwan Abdulla Saleh, Khalifa Al Jassem, Mohammad Ahmad, Mansour Alfeeli, Khalifa Albahri& Ibrahim Almusharaakh. It looks like every other American military action movie, set just in the UAE – same uniforms, same weapons, same helicopters. As of December 2021, it was the highest-grossing Emirati and Arabic-language film ever made in the United Arab Emirates.
