The action revolves around a woman who is forced to choose between the husband who was long believed dead and the fiancé charged with bringing her back to life.
She is the man Director Andy Fickman is set to shoot cameras later this year in Massachusetts.
Earlier this week, actor Liu expressed his joy in joining the project, Tweeter: “ASIAN. ROMANTIC. LEADS! There is nothing like the feeling of transforming an Asian character.
“It’s more than a face, it’s about painting this whole new shape in exciting colors, from all of its experiences to its insecurities. I can’t wait to show it to you.”

Meanwhile, Liu recently criticized his sitcom Kim’s convenience, which he saw as lacking behind-the-scenes diversity.
