Dolph Lundgren’s Action Movie Section 8 Sets AMC+ Release Date

The upcoming action flick Section 8, which stars genre legends Dolph Lundgren and Scott Adkins, is now set to hit theaters and on AMC+.

The star-studded new action movie Section 8 starring Dolph Lundgren is set to premiere later this year on AMC Network’s streaming service, AMC+. Featured alongside Lundgren is true bloodby Ryan Kwanten and action star Scott Adkins, who will appear in John Wick: Chapter 4. The new film is directed by Christian Sesma based on a screenplay by Chad Law, the writer of other Lundgren and Adkins films such as black water and the next Curfew.

According Variety, Section 8 is set to debut in theaters and begin streaming on AMC+ on September 23. Section 8 centers on a former soldier who is sent to prison for life after avenging the murder of his wife and child. There, he is recruited by a shadowy government agency for an unofficial mission, with the promise of regaining his freedom. Also appearing in the film is the Oscar-nominated actor and iron man 2 villain Mickey Rourke. Check out AMC+ CEO Courtney Thomasma’s statement below:

Lundgren recently lent her voice for a role in Minions: The Rise of Gruand will next be seen alongside Jason Momoa in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The cast will also include Hana and Greyis Dermot Mulroney. Action movie fans around the world will probably be delighted when Section 8 premieres on AMC+ this year.
